Israel-Canada Hotels chain is set to expand its presence to Jerusalem, marking a significant development for the company. The chain, owned by Barak Rosen, Asaf Touchmair, and Reuven Alex, recently finalized a management and lease agreement with the Levy family, proprietors of the esteemed “Shalom Jerusalem” hotel. This agreement spans a 20-year period.
Situated in the enchanting Ein Kerem neighborhood, one of Jerusalem’s premier tourist destinations, the hotel is conveniently positioned just a 10-minute drive from the city center. Its elevated location affords guests a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.
The property boasts 288 rooms, slated for a comprehensive renovation over the next two years at an estimated cost of approximately NIS 20 million. This overhaul includes the creation of four opulent suites, augmenting the existing guest rooms. Notably, each of these suites will feature a private pool, offering an exclusive vantage point overlooking the entire city of Jerusalem.
